Nurse

General Description:
Providing nursing care to patients in accordance with the professional standards approved by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) and the Ministry of Health (MOH). This role ensures the improvement of healthcare service quality and patient safety.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Providing Healthcare Services:
   1. Assessing patients’ conditions and delivering the necessary nursing care.
   2. Monitoring vital signs and documenting them in patient records.
   3. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
2. Health Education:
   1. Providing patients and their families with guidance on proper healthcare.
   2. Advising patients on medications, treatments, and healthy lifestyle practices.
3. Medical Procedures Execution:
   1. Assisting doctors during examinations and medical procedures.
   2. Sterilizing and cleaning medical tools to comply with infection control standards.
4. Updating Medical Records:
   1. Accurately documenting all nursing activities in medical records.
   2. Ensuring the confidentiality of patient information and health data.
5. Adhering to Safety Standards:
   1. Implementing infection control measures and approved preventive protocols.
   2. Responding promptly and effectively to emergency cases.
6. Communication and Coordination:
   1. Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care.
   2. Reporting any changes in patient conditions to the attending physician.

Qualifications Required:

1. Educational Requirements:
   • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in nursing from a recognized university or college.
2. Licensing:
   • A valid nursing license issued by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS).
   • Passing the SCFHS exam and registering in the Mumaris+ system.
3. Experience:
   • Prior experience in nursing is preferred, based on the requirements of the healthcare facility.
4. Additional Skills:
   • Ability to work with patients of all demographics.
   • Strong communication skills.
   • Proficiency in English (spoken and written) in addition to Arabic.
